Large gatehouse 28mm wargaming terrain | Part of The Fortress set

This is a complete miniature gatehouse with a moving drawbridge, large doors that open on hinges and can be barred shut using the supplied plank, a portcullis that can be lifted, and the gatehouse structure consisting of the main body and top / battlement parts. Each part is described below.

This gatehouse can be used as wargaming terrain in several fantasy and medieval games, dioramas or as terrain for RPG systems.

The gatehouse is part of a modular set called The Fortress, and with the other pieces can be used to build a modular fortress. Links to other pieces and pictures of the whole set painted are at the end of the listing.

All models are intended and designed for 28mm scale in The Fortress set.

The gatehouse can be attached from its sides to the modular wall pieces either with 3 connectors or up to 6× 4×1mm magnets per side.
The top and bottom parts of the gate are attached either using 4 connectors or up to 8× 4×1mm magnets.

Connectors:

Plastic connectors will include 7 plastic connectors (4 for the top part, 3 for attaching to the modular walls in The Fortress set).

Magnets + plastic :

20 × 4×1mm magnets (8 magnets for the top part, 12 for the sides) + the plastic connectors as desribed aboce

Part description for the parts that make up the gatehouse:

Gatehouse body:

This is the main body of the gatehouse which everything else gets attached to.

Height: 13.9 cm (5.47 inches)

Gatehouse top:

This forms the battlement of the gatehouse. It can be removed for easier access to the gatehouse doors.
Dimensions:
Width: 14.9 cm (5.87 inches)
Depth: 8 cm (3.15 inches)
Height: 3.3 cm (1.30 inches)

Gatehouse drawbridge:

This is a hinged piece that gets attached to the front of the gatehouse and can be lowered or raised as needed.
Dimensions:
Width: 7.5 cm (2.95 inches)
Depth: 5.6 cm (2.20 inches)
Height: 0.3 cm (0.12 inches)

Gatehouse doors:

There are two hinged doors that can be opened or closed and secured shut from the inside with a beam that comes with the doors.

Gatehouse portcullis:

This is a portcullis that acts as the final barrier inside the gatehouse. It can be slid in and out through the top of the gatehouse via a matching slit.

I keep some of these printed but print the rest on order, so processing time may vary depending on the order size and what I have currently available. Some of the parts may require minor sanding before painting. The shade of gray may be different depending on what filament I have available. Not suitable for small children.
